ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Paul

WHERE I COME FROM

I grew up on a small family farm where I learned many lessons about a hard day’s work and developed an appreciation and connection with the land. I worked multiple jobs during college to help pay my way through school, including working for a dairy processing facility, a large tree nursery, and an agricultural chemical company where I literally spent time building railroads.

During my time in college I met my wife, Julie, through mutual friends. Julie and I were married shortly after we graduated from college and just recently celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. We are blessed to have two amazing little boys, Peter who is four and Simon who is one.

I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family exploring Idaho and traveling to destinations near and far. I also enjoy spending as much time in the water as possible, whether that is in Lake Coeur d'Alene, the Spokane River, or in a pool at the Kroc Center.

WORK & COMMUNITY

I currently own and operate an education and development consulting business with my wife and also own a small family farm with my brother and sister. Prior to starting my own business I spent about a dozen years working as an administrator in higher education, working to build educational opportunities for students and economic outcomes for communities. I have a B.S. in Agricultural Economics and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.

I have had the privilege of serving and volunteering with many organizations in North Idaho, including: Heritage Health, Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM), CDA Economic Development Corporation, and the North Idaho Tourism Summit.

I believe I am the trusted, conservative, and experienced Republican in this election and I humbly ask for your support.
