Paul Amador... is a Republican with outstanding academic credentials, a deep understanding of issues based on his own research rather than someone else’s political persuasiveness, and a strong desire to bring out the best for all of Idaho...”
- Coeur d’Alene Press Editorial
I have had the incredible privilege of serving three terms in the Idaho House of Representatives on behalf of the people of District 4. I currently serve on several legislative committees, including: the powerful budget setting Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee, Judiciary, Rules and Administration, Environment Energy and Technology, and Joint Legislative Oversight. I also serve as the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee which is often used to introduce some of the most important legislation during each session.
I am passionate about ensuring Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, and all of Idaho remain a great place to live, work, play and raise a family. I have done my very best to be as actively involved in as many aspects of our community as possible ranging from education, health care, community economic development, tourism, mental health, arts, and children's issues. Over the years I have been honored to be recognized by many organizations throughout Idaho for my efforts on various issues including: United Way of Treasure Valley, Idaho Farm Bureau Federation, Food Producers of Idaho, National Rifle Association, Safe Start Northwest, and Kootenai County Top 30 Under 40.
